Wir reisten Mitte Februar 2025 durch den Norden Patagoniens mit einem kurzen Abstecher nach Argentinien. Dank Christian Tannen, der für uns die komplette Reise mit tollen Unterkünften, allen Schiffspassagen Mietwagen und Flügen organisiert hat, konnten wir uns völlig entspannt auf das Abenteuer einlassen. Die abwechslungsreiche Reise mit vielen tollen Eindrücken durch das naturbelassene Patagonien mit seinen Flüssen, Seen, Fjorden, Gletscher u.a. war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis und als Abschied gab es bei Christian und Claudia noch einen Geburtstagskuchen für meinen Mann. Ende November 2024 reisten wir nach Patagonien, und dank Christian und Claudia Tannen wurde es eine der schönsten Reisen, die wir je gemacht haben. Da wir selbst überhaupt keine Zeit hatten, die Reise zu organisieren, trat Christian in Aktion und kümmerte sich um jede Einzelheit. Vom ersten Kontakt an war klar, dass wir in guten Händen waren.
Christian und Claudia organisierten für uns gemütliche und besondere Unterkünfte, einen zuverlässigen Mietwagen und echt schöne Touren. Das Beste daran war, dass überall, wo wir hinkamen, der Name Christian Tannen uns die Türen öffnete. Es war erstaunlich, wie gut vernetzt er ist und wie reibungslos alles funktionierte.
Unsere Reise war eine vielfältige Mischung aus Trekking, Sightseeing und Entspannung. Patagonien ist der Hammer! Gletscher, Berge, Wald und Kondore, die direkt vor unser Nase vorbei flogen! Heftiges Herzklopfen bekamen wir, als wir vom warmen Thermalwasser in den kühlen Fjord sprangen.
Wir haben richtig Lust wieder nach Patagonien zu reisen und werden dies definitiv von Christian und Claudia organisieren lassen.
For anyone planning a trip to Chilean Patagonia, I have one recommendation above all: before you go, get in touch with Claudia and Christian from Slow Andes Roads. We did, and our trip was much smoother and far more enjoyable thanks to their efforts. From Hornopiren to Torres del Paine, they can help you plan your trip day-by-day, suggesting how long a journey to make each day (a tricky task in Patagonia, where the unpredictable condition of the roads -- or rather, road -- means you cannot judge how long a trip will take by kilometers alone), the best places to stay and eat, and the best excursions to glaciers, waterfalls, forests, etc., along the way. And not only that: they can make advance reservations for hotels, for ferries (where without a reservation you may find yourself out of luck when you arrive at the dock), for day trips (and guides where necessary) to Torres del Paine, Ventisquero Colgante, and many others, and, last but not least, for the best kind of vehicle you will need depending on road and weather conditions. All of which saved us, and will save you, countless 1) time and 2) headaches. So do get in touch with Claudia and Christian; you won't regret it!
